9 Big Brother players The Challenge actually should bring on

Since The Challenge began having cast members from Big Brother they have proven to be some of the most polarizing figures on show. Some people have become fan favorites like Da’Vonne and Natalie while others are some of the most disliked people like Josh and Fessy, but at this point it is pretty evident that The Challenge will continue to use Big Brother to find rookies for seasons. However sometimes the choices for who have been brought over have seemed a bit random to Big Brother fans, so here are the nine contestants from Big Brother I think they should cast on a future season of The Challenge.

Mark Jansen (Big Brother 19)

Mark is a person that some people who don’t watch Big Brother may know since he was an alternate for Double Agents. Personally I think he would have been a better option than some of the guys we did get. Mark works as a Body Builder and Personal Trainer and is a reportedly 6’ 2” 230 lbs, with that size he could potentially compete with people like Fessy or Rogan in a Hall Brawl or other headbanger. In addition to what he brings physically he is not afraid to get mixed up in the drama getting into a showmance on his season and numerous fights particularly with Josh Martinez. I think bringing in someone like Mark could cause a rift in the Big Brother alliance and make it so that they are not automatically all in one alliance would be a smart choice for the show.

Becky Burgess (Big Brother 17)

Becky is a bit of a wildcard similar in my mind to someone like Amber B from Double Agents. Becky is 5’8” and athletic winning three competitions and finishing near the top in a number of others on a Big Brother also she is looks to have good endurance as a big fan of hiking and rock climbing. Becky is a bit of a quirky personality but really social and likable and I thinks she would bring some fun to The Challenge. Becky could come in and be underestimated physically then pull off an upset win and shock the house. The people we have gotten from her season of Big Brother are Da’Vonne, Liz and Julia so her only realistic ally could be Da’Vonne since the twins have not been back since being eliminated very early on War of the Worlds however that didn’t holdback Amber from making the Double Agents final so maybe Becky could do similarly well.

Tommy Bracco (Big Brother 21)

Tommy was really energetic and a big character on his season of Big Brother and he is more than just a fun character. He is a really good social player finishing in 4th place and also in fantastic shape as a professional Broadway dancer. Physically Tommy reminds me of Jay since he is a smaller guy who would have trouble in something like Hall Brawl but he has strength, endurance and body awareness which could is often beneficial on The Challenge. Nobody else from his season has come on to The Challenge yet but I still think he has the personality to build bonds and do well on the show.

Kaitlyn Herman (Big Brother 20)

Kaitlyn is absolutely chaotic fun and would bring that kind of messy game play to The Challenge which is needed to keep the show interesting. Without a few players like her who are willing to make big moves that are sometimes huge mistakes the show becomes too predictable. She won a competition on Big Brother and is average height which for girls usually tends to matter a lot since shorter girls have trouble in the really physical aspects of The Challenge and in partner challenges pairs with big height differences have sometimes really struggled. She was on the same cast with Fessy, Kaycee, Bayleigh & Swaggy C so she comes in with a working relationship with them however she did end up betraying Fessy, Bayleigh & Swaggy C so it might end up as more of a rivalry which is something I would want to see too.

Cody Calafiore (Big Brother 16 & Big Brother 22: All Stars)

Cody is one of the best Big Brother players of all time, winning all stars and coming in second place on his original appearance. Cody won 6 competitions on his first season and a remarkable 8 competitions on All Stars also he was a collegiate soccer player and nearly went professional before an ankle injury ended that dream for him so keeping up in the challenges would not be something I would be concerned about. Cody is an excellent social player too, repeatedly getting other players to make bad moves for them in order to help his game. He is also well connected with people on the show, playing Big Brother with Amber B, Da’Vonne and Bayleigh let alone the fact that he is connected to even more people in The Challenge world since Paulie is his younger brother so he has natural allies with people who are friends of Paulie and CaraMaria.

Haleigh Broucher (Big Brother 20)

Haleigh is young, flirty and did a pretty well in the competitions on Big Brother without being a former athlete or anything like that. She is really likable and someone who could easily come in and get into a showmance like she did on Big Brother (more on that later) or get ingrained in the house just because she is fun to hang out with. If she were to come on trying for the win Haleigh probably needs to train more but I could definitely see her becoming a solid competitor. One of the biggest things that Haleigh brings to The Challenge is that she has a relationship with a lot of the Big Brother people who have been on the show. She was in an alliance with Bayleigh & Swaggy C, and is the ex girlfriend of Fessy who she met on Big Brother and dated until right before Fessy left for Double Agents. Therefore she knows other people from The Challenge from when she was still dating Fessy. I think the best place to bring her in would be an Exes 3 season but she also could really be cast on any season of The Challenge.

Brett Robinson (Big Brother 20)

I am honestly shocked that Brett has not already been cast on a season of The Challenge or some other reality show yet. He is in many ways your typical frat boy jock but what makes him stand out is that he is an absolute pot stirrer he gets glee out of the lying and going over the top nature of being on reality tv. He reminds me a lot of Devin in that way he is going to give great confessionals and scheme & make deals that could help him in the game or blow up in his face. Physically Brett is an athletic guy but not someone coming in like Fessy, Theo, Nam or Turbo where he is immediately going to be a top dog therefore I expect he would be thrown in eliminations early and need to prove himself if he were to come on The Challenge. Looking at his relationships with people in The Challenge universe, Brett is from the same season as Kaycee, Fessy, Bayleigh and Swaggy C so could have connections there, although he was against all of them at different points so them working together is not a definite. In my mind Brett is exactly the kind of Big Brother player who The Challenge should bring over.

Jessica (Graf) Nickson (Big Brother 19/ The Amazing Race 30)

Jessica Graf became a big fan favorite on her season when she and her showmance (now husband) ended up at the bottom fighting against an alliance of essentially the entire rest of the house. Along the way she won multiple challenges and tried to make big moves before ultimately getting eliminated about midgame. She doesn’t back down from a fight and I would expect her to have some great and cutting confessionals. She is a better social player than her prejury finish in Big Brother suggests and in really good shape winning competitions on Big Brother and then winning The Amazing Race. When it comes to preexisting relationships like Mark, Jessica likely would come in against Josh and his allies since they were enemies on Big Brother which is something I want to see.

Paul Abrahamian (Big Brother 18 & 19)

Paul came in second place back to back on Big Brother being a huge personality both times as well as being a competition beast. They broke the record for most competition wins with 14 wins on Big Brother so even though competitions on The Challenge are certainly different they will be no slouch in daily challenges. They may not be physically imposing size wise but in competition that aren’t about brute force they are strong and have endurance. Paul is also a really strong political player masterminding all of season 19. Coming into The Challenge world, Paul’s obvious ally is Josh who they took with them to the final of Big Brother working in a tight alliance all game, additionally on their first Big Brother season they also played with and ultimately betrayed Paulie so that would be an interesting relationship to follow if Paul were to be on The Challenge.
